Uganda

Notes: Given that cheetah and wild dog only exist in Uganda in the north as part of a transboundary population shared with Southern Sudan and Kenya, it was considered unnecessary to develop a national action plan for the two species seperate to the national action plan for all large carnivores in Uganda, developed in April 2010. The regional coordinator (East Africa) attended the workshop for all carnivores and ensured that cheetah and wild dog conservation issues for this country were adequately addressed. The NAP for carnvores in Uganda is not yet available
